I have been wanting to carve one to offer for sale ever since, but demand for spoons had been so great that I had to put my plans on hold.  Finally, I axed out a piece of wild cherry that had the right grain pattern and immediately saw a salt bowl in in the wood. Even though it was not a match for the set I was working on, I really liked this spoon.  It felt nice in the hand, the grain was very nice and I liked the shape both as a cooking and eating spoon.  To me , this spoon was ideal for tasting food as you cook. I had several orders to
